Inventory

Know what you can promise—and where it is on the floor

Inventory control is more than an on-hand total. Cybership keeps physical locations, availability inputs, blind Cycle Counts, and replenishment work connected—then records the movement and warehouse-state history behind every correction.

Start with the stock physically inside this warehouse

Product Stock shows the Product, location, on-hand quantity, lot, and expiration for the warehouse in scope. Search and filters keep the floor-level rows reviewable before anyone changes inventory.

The Dallas view contains 145 Trail Bottle units across a pick face and bulk storage. Reno stock stays out of this warehouse-specific table.

Each row is one Product at one physical location in the selected warehouse, with its on-hand quantity, lot, expiration, and location behavior.

Read availability as an equation, not a mystery number

The Product Inventory tab rolls physical stock into warehouse totals, then starts availability from sellable on hand before accounting for committed and unavailable units plus any configured Sell Ahead. Expand a warehouse to see the locations underneath it.

Every location in this scenario is sellable. Dallas therefore starts with 145 sellable on hand; 12 committed and 10 unavailable leave 123 available.

Count blind, correct only after the recount agrees

Cycle Count turns a warehouse scope and cadence into assigned work, snapshots the expected quantity for reconciliation, and omits it from the counter’s screen. With recount-on-discrepancy enabled, the first mismatch does not change inventory.

Trail Polo snapshots at 28 and counts at 26. The first −2 remains held; Mateo’s matching −2 recount writes 28 → 26 to Inventory History, while a different recount leaves stock unchanged.

Refill the pick face from a source that can finish the move

Replenishment compares current pickable stock with effective minimum and maximum levels plus open-order demand, applies the configured increment, and keeps Restock and Break work separate.

Trail Polo’s 18 pickable eaches produce a 42-each Restock from BULK-08 to A-12-04 and carry that exact source and quantity into #PL-1043. Cold Cup remains a separate two-case Break task.

Keep every correction and movement explainable

Inventory History records the physical location delta behind receipts, transfers, Cycle Count corrections, and completed stock moves. Product Adjustment History retains the resulting warehouse state across on hand, sellable on hand, committed, unavailable, sell ahead, on order, and available.

This receipt example adds 48 sellable units and removes 30 units of Sell Ahead, so available rises by 18. On Order falls by 48 separately; it is not part of the availability equation.
