Start with the facility record shipping can trust
The Details tab shows the warehouse name, company, phone, and postal fields. Update Warehouse also exposes canonical timezone, while default status remains a separate warehouse-list action.
Cybership checks required address fields and timezone shape. Entering an address here does not claim postal verification or carrier deliverability.

Default warehouse is managed as a separate action; it is not part of the detail form.
The update form owns Warehouse Name, Company, Phone, both address lines, City, Province/State, Zip, Country, and Timezone. The Details tab does not display timezone or default status, and completeness is not postal verification.
Carry the ship-from record into the work that needs it
An assigned fulfillment package can fill omitted origin fields from its warehouse. Rate Quote can explicitly select the same team-owned warehouse without creating a package.
The fallback is bounded: standalone packages do not silently inherit a warehouse, and explicitly supplied package fields are not described as warehouse-owned.

Override the site exception, not the whole operating baseline
The Configuration tab resolves supported settings in order: warehouse override, team setting, then Cybership default. Each row keeps the effective value and the layer that supplied it visible.
West Fulfillment Center changes only its replenishment range. Picking labor auto-tracking stays inherited from the team, while session sorting falls through to the Cybership default.

Keep the facility boundary explicit
Warehouse Configuration supplies editable facility fields, time, and supported overrides. It does not absorb every floor resource or turn a completed address form into a verified one.

- What does the warehouse detail form own?
- Name, company, phone, both address lines, city, province or state, postal code, country, and timezone. Default-warehouse status is a separate action.
- When does package origin fallback apply?
- When a fulfillment-order package is assigned to the warehouse and omits ship-from fields. Standalone packages do not automatically inherit this origin.
- Which settings can a site override?
- Only the fields supported by warehouse configuration. Other team settings stay at their owning layer instead of being copied into a fake all-purpose facility catalog.
