Keep each label connected to its outbound container

A valid label can still land in the wrong physical container. Create a Gaylord for the active warehouse and carrier, load it from either mobile scan path, review the attached labels, then close the record and export its package-item detail.

Open a carrier container in the active warehouse

Choose one of the five supported carrier groups and add an optional note. The active warehouse is already selected; Cybership assigns the next team-wide Gaylord number and default name.

The list keeps number, carrier, Open or Closed state, label count, warehouse, and creation time visible before the operator opens the record.

Scan the container first—or the label first

On mobile, an operator can open a known Gaylord and scan repeatedly, or use Quick Scan to start with a loose label and choose from open containers in the selected warehouse.

Both paths leave the operator with a visible result. An already-assigned label, a closed Gaylord, or an explicit carrier mismatch returns the reason beside the scan.

Container first

Open a known Gaylord, turn on Scan Labels, and keep the success or exact rejection beside each scan.

Quick Scan

Scan a shipping-label barcode, then select which Gaylord to add it to.

Quick Scan asks for an active warehouse first, then offers open Gaylords there. A recognized label carrier narrows the list again.

Label first

Start with the loose label, then choose from the matching open containers in the selected warehouse.

Desktop fallback

Open the Gaylord detail and choose Add Labels to select unassigned labels stored under the same carrier ID.

Follow the relationship in either direction

The Gaylord detail uses the standard Shipping Labels ledger, with service, tracking, shipment, scan, and creation fields. Open a Shipping Label and its Gaylord tab points back to the container.

Support can move from the container to a label—or from the label back to the container—without losing the context of the handoff.

The label points back to #GL-0011; the Gaylord detail keeps the attached-label list.

Close the handoff, then export the item detail

Closing moves the Gaylord from Open to Closed, records the closer and time, and replaces Add Labels and Close Gaylord with Export CSV.

The CSV contains package-item detail: Gaylord, Item Name, SKU, Weight, Country of Origin, HS Code, and Quantity. Label identity stays in the on-screen ledger.

Use the on-screen label ledger for label identity. The closed-container CSV flattens package line items into the seven fields shown here.

Review the handoff without reconstructing it

Open the Gaylord to confirm its carrier, warehouse, and attached labels. After closeout, the same record adds the closer and time, then makes package-item detail available for customs or reconciliation.

Which containers can Quick Scan offer?
Open Gaylords in the operator’s selected warehouse. When the scanned label has a recognized carrier, the list narrows to that carrier too.
What stops a label from being added?
An already-assigned label, a closed Gaylord, a record unavailable to the current team, or an explicit carrier mismatch returns an error instead of moving the label.
What changes after close?
There is no reopen action. Add, remove, and update stop; the record shows who closed it and when; Export CSV becomes available.
What does the current CSV contain?
Gaylord, Item Name, SKU, Weight, Country of Origin, HS Code, and Quantity—package-item detail, not a second label ledger.
