Shopify WMS Integration

Cybership connects Shopify to the warehouse workflows the integration supports. This page defines the connection method, data direction, synchronization pattern, setup, limitations, and troubleshooting ownership so operators can evaluate a real implementation rather than a logo checklist.

Who Cybership is for

  • You need a supported Shopify connection within Cybership
  • The integration has a named business owner and a testable warehouse workflow
  • Setup, data ownership, exceptions, limitations, and troubleshooting responsibilities will be documented

When to choose another approach

  • A logo-level connection is enough without testing the required data and exception paths
  • No one owns credentials, source-system configuration, or downstream behavior
  • The implementation assumes unsupported data or actions without written confirmation

What connects and how data moves

Direct Cybership integration using an authorized Shopify store connection.

Orders and channel data flow into Cybership; product-listing and inventory behavior is controlled by the connected-store configuration.

Synchronization and setup

Event-driven updates and synchronization jobs are used according to the workflow and data type.

Authorize the Shopify store, choose ownership and synchronization settings, select the order-sync starting point, and validate products, inventory, taxes, shipping methods, cancellations, and test orders.

Limitations and support ownership

Shopify configuration, plan capabilities, third-party apps, custom order fields, bundles, and historical data can change the required mapping. Confirm each launch workflow in a sandbox.

Cybership owns the WMS connector and warehouse-side diagnostics. Store permissions, Shopify configuration, and third-party app behavior may require the merchant or Shopify partner.

What should we test for the Shopify integration?

Test authorization, representative data, normal workflows, cancellations or reversals, duplicates, retries, permissions, error evidence, reconciliation, and ownership. Who owns integration troubleshooting?
